Sciton · BBL Hero · Moxi · Halo · Vestavia Hills, AL
BBL Hero for color. Moxi for texture. Halo when you want the deep correction. One Sciton platform, two people who actually know how to run it — Victoria on lasers for ten years, Dr. Petro on Halo settings herself.

Sciton is the laser and light platform behind BBL Hero (BroadBand Light), Moxi laser resurfacing and the Halo hybrid fractional laser. Same system, three very different jobs — which is exactly why results come down to who's holding the handpiece and what settings they choose.
At Petro Facial Plastic Surgery and MedSpa in Vestavia Hills, Victoria is a master esthetician who has been performing BBL for ten years and was trained by the very best. Dr. Melanie Petro, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, oversees every plan and personally runs Halo. The results on this site — Sculptra, BBL Hero and Moxi — are Dr. Petro's own.
Through September, BBL Hero is $450 for the face and Moxi is $700 for the face — buy your face and your neck is free.
Sciton's fastest BroadBand Light. Brown spots, sun freckling, redness and rosacea flush across face, neck, chest or hands. $450 face in September, neck free. This is the color fix.
Sciton's non-ablative fractional 1927 nm laser. Dullness, fine lines, early sun damage, makeup settling into creases. Safe for all skin types, a couple of days of texture. $700 face, neck free.
Ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in one pass, so it reaches pigment, pores and crepey texture Moxi can't. A Dr. Petro treatment — she runs the settings. Quoted at consult.
Sciton is the laser and light platform we use at Petro Facial Plastic Surgery and MedSpa. It powers BBL Hero (BroadBand Light), Moxi non-ablative resurfacing and the Halo hybrid fractional laser — three different tools on one system, so we can treat color, texture and depth without switching practices.
BBL Hero is Sciton's fastest BroadBand Light device. BroadBand Light (BBL) is the intense pulsed light technology itself; Hero is the newer, faster, cooler handpiece that lets us cover the face, neck, chest, arms or hands quickly. BBL targets brown spots, redness, sun damage and freckling. Victoria, our master esthetician, has been performing BBL for ten years.
Moxi is Sciton's gentle non-ablative fractional 1927 nm laser. It refreshes tone and texture, softens fine lines and early sun damage, and works on all skin types with minimal downtime — usually a couple of sandpapery days. It pairs beautifully with BBL: BBL handles color, Moxi handles quality.
Halo is Sciton's hybrid fractional laser — it delivers ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in the same pass, so it goes deeper than Moxi for pigment, texture, pores and crepey skin. Halo is a Dr. Petro treatment; she runs the settings herself.
BBL for brown spots and redness. Moxi for dullness, fine lines and maintenance with little downtime. Halo when you want a bigger, deeper correction in fewer sessions. Most people start with BBL and Moxi together and add Halo later. A consult sorts it in ten minutes.
BBL Hero is $450 for the face and Moxi is $700 for the face — and all September, buy your face and your neck is free (a $300 BBL and $700 Moxi value). Halo is quoted at consult based on depth and area.
